Welcome to the Keyword Clustering Tool (the "Add-on"). Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Add-on within Google Workspace, specifically how we access, use, and safeguard your data for the purpose of keyword clustering.

Information We Handle and Do Not Collect

  • Google Sheets Data: The Add-on accesses keyword lists and optional associated data (e.g., Volume, Difficulty, CPC) from your active Google Sheet. This data is used solely for the purpose of processing your clustering request via the Google Gemini API. We do NOT store, transmit, or retain any of your Google Sheets data on our servers or any external systems. All processing happens within your Google Workspace environment.
  • Gemini API Key: You provide your personal Google Gemini API key to the Add-on. This key is stored securely using Google's User Properties Service (Apps Script PropertiesService) within your Google account. This API key is NEVER transmitted to our servers or made accessible to anyone other than your Google Apps Script environment. It is used exclusively to authenticate your requests to the Google Gemini API.
  • No Personal Information Collection: We do NOT collect your name, email address, payment details, or any other personal identifying information through the Add-on itself. Your use of the Add-on is associated with your Google Account, but we do not extract or store personal data from it.
  • No Usage Data Collection: We do NOT collect usage data such as pages visited, queries made, IP addresses, browser types, or operating systems through the Add-on.

How Your Information is Used (and not used)

  • The keywords and optional data from your Google Sheet are used as input for the Google Gemini API to perform the clustering task you initiate.
  • The Gemini API key is used to authenticate these requests to Google's services.
  • Clustering results (newly grouped keywords) are written directly back into a new sheet ("Cluster Summary") within your active Google Spreadsheet.
  • Your data is NOT sold, traded, rented, or shared with any third parties by us.
  • Your data is NOT used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than fulfilling your explicit clustering request.

Third-Party Services (Google Gemini API)

The Keyword Clustering Tool relies on the Google Gemini API for its core functionality. Your use of the Google Gemini API is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Please review Google's policies for how they handle data processed through their API.

Data Security

Since the Add-on operates within Google Apps Script and leverages Google's infrastructure (including User Properties for API key storage and the Gemini API for processing), your data benefits from Google's robust security measures. We do not maintain separate servers or databases where your sensitive data could be compromised by us.

Your Rights

As we do not collect personal information, rights related to accessing, updating, or deleting personal data directly with us are not applicable. Your control over your data resides primarily with your Google Account and Google Sheets.
