Connect ChatGPT to Searcherries

Add Searcherries to ChatGPT as a developer-mode app, then analyze your stored project data in a chat.

You need paid-plan access in Searcherries (an active trial counts). ChatGPT only lets you add your own MCP apps in developer mode, which is available on the web for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts. In a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may have to allow developer mode first.

Add the app

In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and select the + button.
Enter Searcherries as the name and add a short description, for example "AI visibility and SEO data for my website".
Paste the server URL below as the MCP server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
Create the app. Sign in to Searcherries in the browser window that opens and approve access.

Use it in a chat

Start a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode and select Searcherries. Then ask:

List the projects available in my Searcherries account.

Check that the projects belong to the account you meant to authorize, then ask about one of them by name:

Using Searcherries, which customer questions do AI assistants answer without naming us, and which competitors do they name instead? Include the reporting dates.

Every Searcherries tool is marked read-only, so ChatGPT does not treat its calls as write actions. The connection cannot change projects or refresh reports. Learn about MCP data access and data update schedules.

If it does not connect

Check the full server URL, including /mcp/searcherries. The address of the settings page, /mcp, is not the server URL.
If ChatGPT offers no way to create an app, developer mode is off or your workspace does not allow it.
If the expected projects are missing, the browser may have authorized a different Searcherries account. Delete the app in ChatGPT and create it again while signed in to the correct account.
