Connect Claude Code to Searcherries

Claude Code is Anthropic's assistant for the terminal. Connected to Searcherries and opened in the folder that holds your website, it can read your AI visibility, competitor, citation, Search Console, Bing and GA4 data on one side and your pages on the other, and turn an analysis into page edits you approve one by one.

You need paid-plan access in Searcherries (an active trial counts) and Claude Code installed on the machine that holds your site.

Add the server

Run this once in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http searcherries https://app.searcherries.com/mcp/searcherries

The exact command with your server name is shown on the MCP page in Searcherries under Claude Code.

Sign in

1. Start Claude Code in the folder of your website.
2. Type /mcp, choose searcherries and complete the Searcherries sign-in that opens in your browser.
3. Ask: "List my Searcherries projects." The projects of the authorized account are listed with their connected sources.

Use the prompts

The Searcherries prompts appear as slash commands under the server name, for example /mcp__searcherries__action-plan, /mcp__searcherries__geo-audit, /mcp__searcherries__content-gaps, /mcp__searcherries__competitor-gap, /mcp__searcherries__page-brief, /mcp__searcherries__question-review and /mcp__searcherries__weekly-report. Each one tells Claude Code which Searcherries tools to call, in which order, and what to deliver. Pass the project name or id as the project argument when the account has more than one project.

Because Claude Code also edits files, an audit can end with the recommended page changes applied to your site. Claude Code shows every change before it is written; review it like any other change to your website.

Connect with an access token instead

If browser sign-in is not possible on that machine, create a personal access token in Searcherries and pass it as a header when adding the server:

claude mcp add --transport http searcherries https://app.searcherries.com/mcp/searcherries --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"

Claude Code stores the header in its own settings, so revoke the token in Searcherries when you stop using it.

If it does not connect

Check that the URL ends with /mcp/searcherries and that the transport is http. Run claude mcp list to see whether the server is registered, and /mcp inside a session to repeat the sign-in. If the expected projects are missing, the browser may have authorized a different Searcherries account.
