Use these definitions when reading Searcherries reports or asking an assistant to analyze them.

ProjectA monitored brand and website with a particular market, language, platform selection, and question set.
Customer question / promptA question you choose for Searcherries to send to AI platforms during monitoring.
Primary questionThe project's main tracked customer question.
Additional questionAnother customer question tracked alongside the primary question.
Target countryGeographic context for AI monitoring. It is separate from the country breakdown in analytics.
GlobalNo single country is selected; it does not mean a separate scan of every country.
Target languageThe customer language used to guide project questions and relevant language-specific processing.
AI platformOne of the supported answer or search experiences selected for monitoring.
AI VisibilityA weighted relative score using mentions, platform coverage, and available rank data.
MentionAn identified appearance of a brand in a collected AI answer.
Platform coverageHow many selected platforms mention a brand within the report scope.
Avg rankAverage position of a brand in AI responses; lower is better.
Share of voiceA brand's share of the recorded brand mentions within the comparison.
CompetitorA brand identified alongside the project brand in the monitored answer set.
Citation / cited URLA page recorded as a source for an answer. It can belong to any website.
Consulted sourceA source exposed as having been used during research; this does not necessarily mean it was cited in the final answer.
AI search queryA search phrase recorded while an AI platform researched a tracked question.
GSC queryA search term reported by Google Search Console for the connected website.
AI trafficWebsite sessions identified through available AI referral or other AI-related signals in GA4.
Visit / sessionA group of website interactions measured as a session in Google Analytics.
EngagementGA4 engagement data. The AI traffic report's Engaged users label currently uses engaged-session counts.
Conversion actionA conversion event reported by the connected analytics property.
Entry page / landing pageThe page where a recorded website visit began.
ClickA click to the site reported by a search provider. It is not necessarily one GA4 session.
ImpressionAn appearance counted by the search provider under its reporting rules.
CTRClick-through rate: clicks divided by impressions, multiplied by 100.
Avg positionAverage search-result position reported by a search provider, distinct from AI Avg rank.
GSCGoogle Search Console, a source of Google organic-search performance data.
GA4Google Analytics 4, a source of recorded website behavior and traffic data.
BWTBing Webmaster Tools, a source of Bing search-performance data.
Property / siteThe analytics or webmaster-tools entity selected for a project integration.
SnapshotStored data for a particular scope and time, reused in reports or analysis.
Wizard sessionOne submitted project question and its generated final answer.
Question balanceMonthly capacity for chargeable monitored questions, weighted by platform coverage.
Wizard balanceA separate monthly allowance for Wizard questions.
MCPModel Context Protocol, used to let a compatible assistant read Searcherries data.
OAuthA browser authorization flow that lets you grant a client access without sharing your account password.
Access tokenA credential an authorized client uses to access the MCP server. Keep it private.
ProrationAn adjustment for the unused or remaining part of a subscription billing period when the plan changes.
AEOAnswer Engine Optimization: work intended to improve how a business appears in AI-generated answers.
