Manage customer questions

Customer questions are the prompts Searcherries sends to the selected AI platforms to measure your brand's visibility. They are not search terms imported from Google Search Console and are separate from questions you ask Wizard.

Open a project and select Questions in the sidebar.

Primary and additional questions

The Primary customer question captures the main customer need you want to monitor.

Additional questions cover other relevant needs. For example, a payment provider might track:

  • Primary: “What are the best payment processing solutions for small businesses?”
  • Additional: “Which payment providers support recurring subscriptions?”
  • Additional: “Which payment services work well for international online stores?”

The free onboarding scan is a one-off preview. Ongoing monitoring requires an active subscription or eligible trial.

Write a useful question

Use the wording a prospective customer might use before choosing a product or service. Specify the need, audience, or location when it changes the answer.

Keep each question focused. Avoid adding several requests for pricing, support, implementation, and comparisons to one prompt. Avoid including your own brand in a general discovery question because it can inflate the likelihood of a mention.

A targeted question such as “Which accounting tools work well for independent consultants?” is usually easier to interpret than “Tell me everything about accounting software.”

Edit your questions

  1. Open Questions.
  2. Edit Primary customer question if needed.
  3. Select Add question to add an additional question.
  4. Use the remove action beside an additional question to remove it from the editor. Empty additional fields are skipped.
  5. Select Save questions.

Questions can contain up to 500 characters. The editor displays the remaining capacity, including the doubled usage cost for all-platform projects.

When edits take effect

Saving changes does not immediately generate a replacement report. Updated results appear after the relevant checks complete.

Until new checks complete, stored report results can still reflect earlier wording. Frequent rewrites also make period comparisons less consistent. Keep a stable core set when measuring progress.

Understand capacity

The monthly question balance is shared across active projects. Adding chargeable questions consumes the remaining balance. Removing questions does not refund usage already recorded for the current month.

Some onboarding primary questions are included without consuming the paid question allowance. The available capacity shown in the editor accounts for this; do not assume every primary question in every project is exempt.
