Content Ideas

Content Ideas lists longer, question-like searches that brought your website into Google results over the last 12 months. People who type such queries are often looking for the kind of answer an AI assistant would give, so the list is a good place to find content topics and candidates for new tracked customer questions.

Open a project and select Content Ideas in the sidebar. It requires a connected Google Search Console site: until one is connected, the menu item is dimmed and opens SEO Performance, where you can connect Google Search Console.

Read and sort the table

The table always covers the last 12 months; the period selector used elsewhere does not apply here. It is sorted by GSC Impressions by default. Select a metric heading to change the sort, and use the pagination below the table to see more rows.

Hover over a row and use the copy button to copy the question, for example into your content plan or into Questions.

The clicks and impressions are the actual Search Console figures for those queries. Google does not separate AI Overviews or AI Mode clicks in this data. Google explains how AI features are measured.

Use an idea

Start with a query that has meaningful impressions and is relevant to your business. Inspect the related page and ask whether it answers the need clearly. Queries with clicks reveal existing strengths; queries with impressions but few clicks suggest topics to investigate.

Add a query to Questions only if you want Searcherries to monitor it in AI answers. Content Ideas does not add questions or use your question balance on its own.

If the table is empty

Check the connected Google site and the project's language. An empty table means no matching queries were reported in the last 12 months; it does not mean the website never appears in AI answers.
